PARG now has a slow speed cw net on 80 meters at 8:00 pm on Thursdays at 3545 khz. Rob, n6kix, is net control. Please join in, but know it is a slow speed cw net. New cw ops need the practice and it is very helpful to have on the air experience.

The Slow Speed net on Thursday evenings zips along at between 13 to 15 wpm, so this is a great opportunity for hams to improve their CW speed. Please pass the word to other ham related web sites.

I was online tonight listening to the slow code net. I think 13-15 wpm is just the right speed at least for me. Not that I would get everything coming across. I am working every day to learn 16wpm and slowing down while learning is great too.
Unfortunately the atmospheric conditions tonight made it difficult for me to hear in McMinnville Oregon. And I do plan on tuning in next Thursday as well, things may improve. I do have 500 watts at my disposal, so maybe people can hear me. I am not sure where people geographically.
