Daylight Saving Time and Net Operation Times

The Pacific Amateur Radio Guild net is on the air at 9:00 am local (Pacific) time. This means that in the winter, during pacific standard time, we start at 1700 hours utc. In the spring/summer/fall, during daylight saving time, we start at 1600 hours utc because daylight saving time puts us behind. Hopefully, this will clear up some confusion about starting times. Remember that the Sunday night net on 80 meters, at 8:00 pm, is also affected by this crazy time change.
